Jason Momoa gives review of four-hour Snyder's Cut

Jason Momoa gave his review of the Snyder Cut on Thursday during a talk show appearance as his streaming TV series See was renewed for a third season.

The 41-year-old actor during a remote appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon was asked by the 46-year-old host for his thoughts on the four-hour Zack Snyder's Justice League that was released in March on HBO Max.

'I mean, I love Zack and that's kind of what I signed up for, whatever, eight years ago, is to have his vision. And you know, the cool thing about that four-hour piece is that I didn't re-shoot anything, that was all there,' Momoa replied.

'So, it's interesting when people come up to me and they're like, "Oh, I really love this. It was so detailed, it explained so much." I'm like, "Yeah, that's what we went and shot.'' I didn't have to redo anything,' he added.

Snyder, 55, was the director of Justice League during principal photography but withdrew from post-production work in May 2017 to be with his family following the suicide of his daughter Autumn at age 21 in March 2017.

Momoa said 'because of the tragedy' that he was 'happy we made one', referencing the 2017 film that Joss Whedon, 56, completed with reshoots.

'But I'm really happy that we got to release [Snyder's] art and a lot of fans are happy,' Momoa said.

'And the truth of it is, I like the four hours. ...I like the extended and spending time with the characters,' he added.

Fallon also congratulated Momoa for his Apple TV+ series See being renewed for a third season.

'It is literally probably the hardest and greatest character I've ever played just in the sense of, you know, the whole world is blind,' Momoa said.

He said the role of Baba Voss was challenging and he loved the cast and crew and the world See takes place in.

'And it's tough if I'm not fighting, I'm crying and just ...it's pushed me on so many levels,' Momoa said.

Momoa and Fallon later engaged in a water war rematch via Zoom.
