Apple has claimed that it's MacBook Pro 16 has a battery capacity of 100Whr but apparently, it doesn’t. The fine print reveals the ‘actual’ capacity to be 99.9Whr. And as far as the world’s biggest battery crown is concerned, there is already a contender.
Taiwanese manufacturer MSI’s new Creator 15 mobile workstation bests the Macbook Pro, in the battery domain, by one-tenth of a Whr.
While there definitely will be devices in the future with bigger batteries, it is highly unlikely that it will happen with another laptop since 100Whr is the maximum capacity allowed by airlines. These restrictions relate to carrying Lithium-Ion batteries in checked-in luggage, not your hand baggage though.

MSI has not announced the price on the new Creator 15 but as far as specs are concerned we know it is coming with Intel Core i7-10875H eight-core CPU. An AMD Ryzen edition might be released in the future.
