Bella Hadid dramatically revamped her look just in time for the virtual screening party for Dior's 2021 pre-fall men's show.
On Instagram last night, the supermodel debuted a platinum-blonde pixie cut, a massive departure from her signature dark brown locks. The new 'do—likely a wig—comes courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Jennifer Yepez.
"Getting dolled up just for you @mrkimjones," Hadid captioned a video of herself flaunting the new style while shouting out Kim Jones, the fashion house's artistic director. In the montage, the model also shows off her rosy-metallic makeup by Sam Visser. "The new @dior Homme show is out now .... I'm wearing Look 45 x the Closing look😍🖤 Video by me, Makeup look by @samvissermakeup FOR @diormakeup , hair by @jennifer_yepez 🖤."
Hadid posted another slideshow of herself with the updated look, captioning this one, "WOW @kennyscharf 🖤 🎨@mrkimjones @dior This is Mega!!!!🖤This fan is...😍⛓Earrings by the one and only @yoon_ambush 🖤⛓💎."
Though we've come to know the model as the darker-haired Hadid sister, you might be surprised to learn that she's actually a natural blonde.
Speaking previously to BAZAAR.com about her decision to divert from her natural hair color, she said, "Honestly, I just needed a change in my life. I think when you dye and cut your hair it takes away a lot of past resolutions. When I was 13, I dyed my hair dark and cut it and I felt like myself. Then when I was 15, I had a bob and dyed it blue and black and had side-bangs. I really just wanted to go back to when I was 15 and relive that."
