Katie Price was rushed to the hospital after breaking both of her feet during her holiday in Turkey. The star had to spend the night in hospital after fracturing both heels by jumping off a wall at a theme park.
Sharing a photo of her legs in casts, Katie opened up about the ordeal. She wrote: ‘Yes it’s true I have broken my ankles and my feet, I have to have both feet operated on and pins put in been told I won’t be able to walk for 3 to 6 months, @carljwoods is amazing looking after me ❤️❤️ #reallove #bestgentleman #wordscantdecribemyloveforhim #hismywo
A rep for Katie said: ‘I can confirm Katie has incurred an injury. ‘It was sustained by her own doing when visiting a family amusement park with her children, Carl and friends. ‘Katie is expected to cut her holiday short and fly back to the UK for further treatment.’
A source told The Sun: ‘This is the worst thing that could have happened to Katie. ‘She has spent all night in A&E in agony with a hairline crack through both of her heels. ‘The pain is excruciating – but she has a bigger nightmare to come, trying to look after five children while unable to walk.’
The awful incident comes after Katie shared a sweet photo of herself and her new boyfriend Carl Woods posing away with her kids Junior and Princess Andre. Former Love Island star Carl could be seen wrapping his arms around Katie, as they and the two teens perched at the edge of a pool. Katie, 42, documented the beginning of their getaway as they arrived at the airport on Monday and filmed them hanging out in the boarding lounge while saying: ‘Do you know what guys, I love my little baby and I love my man, gorgeous.’
Carl then quipped: ‘Man? I’m the little baby.’ Alongside a selfie of them together, Katie later hailed: ‘So in love with my boyfriend 😍 @carljwoods #forever.’ Katie and Carl’s romance has certainly been whirlwind with the pair being introduced to each other by a mutual friend just last month.
