Jungkook from BTS has become the first and only singer to get 10 billion views on his TikTok tag – shortly after #BlackLivesMatter also reached that milestone. Fans have clicked to view videos tagged with Jungkook’s hashtag over 10 billion times on the video-sharing platform and that number is only set to rise further.
This is just the latest record Jungkook has broken, after he smashed several different social media and chart records recently. He recently became the longest-charting solo K-Pop artist on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart with Euphoria, racking up an enormous 26 weeks. The track also sold over four million international copies. making it the best-selling B-side in K-pop, too.
He also became the only person to achieve over two million likes on five of his Twitter posts as well as being named the most-searched Idol on Google and YouTube for 2020 so far, and also held the title for 2019 too Jungkook is just smashing records left, right and center. As well as Jungkook’s hashtag making 10 million, Black Lives Matter posts also racked up over 12 billion views on TikTok so far.
