Ryan Reynolds: “I was just going to wish you a happy birthday, then I saw what you said..."

Australian superstar Hugh Jackman recently turned 51, and for his birthday, Deadpool actor, Ryan Reynolds, gifted him an exploitative-filled video.
The two have made public jabs at each other over the years, but this latest sparring match was set off when Hugh Jackman, while on his musical world tour, joked: “Let’s see Ryan Reynolds do that,” after a particularly showy number.
He immediately knew what he had started, begging the audience not to share a video of the comment. He warned the crowd that he will “have three million tweets from [Ryan Reynolds] in the next 10 seconds.” But there was no immediate response.
It seems Ryan saved the heat for the fiery birthday video, which begins: “I was just going to wish you a happy birthday, then I saw what you said… Ah, in a word: hurtful”
Donning a little party hat, Ryan Reynolds then brakes out into a skilled and stirring performance of the Happy Birthday song.
Clearly reacting to Hugh Jackman’s previous performance comment, Reynolds then jokingly rounds it off: ‘And I’m not even f**king professionally-trained, Jackman, you piece of s**t mother**ker,’ giving Hugh the middle finger.
The video was shared by Hugh on his Twitter account, captioned: “At first I thought – Ugh, now I actually have to apologize. But then … @VancityReynolds”
The quippy war stems from Ryan’s insistence that Hugh reprise his role as Wolverine for a Deadpool-Wolverine mashup. This seemingly innocent request has led to years of vicious banter.
Hugh filmed a mocking ad for Ryan Reynolds’ company, Aviation Gin - suggesting people urinate on Ryan’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star. In response, Ryan created a political attack ad against Hugh, in which he claims the Aussie star’s accent is fake.
